I'd like to use an analogy here to compare. A village where we live and
our body....
To be healthy and cheerful we need to have an effective waste management in the village where we live. Weekly, the garbage truck from BIR collects the garbage and sees to it that garbage disposal goes as it should weekly, and we contribute to this by paying the tax to Bergen Community office. The same applies to our body. It is necessary to say in this context, that the body is temple of the soul and by this, we may be able to better understand the different body functions. Here, about effective waste management. Our body in itself is a fantastic machine , but we must be responsible to treat this machine properly so it works for us for many, many years.

It is our personal responsibility, to make sure our body
can do the job. Our foremost task is to maintain and to uphold the body functions. Our responsibility includes providing the nutrition it needs, to provide for the metabolism, production and waste management. Thus maintaining the equilibrium (balance). Exercise and movement. Body parts needs maintenance through exercise, if not it will rust (like a machine). When you move the body, it produces the necessary fluids to moist the body parts (preventing from rusting or oxidation).
Simple rule: Our body is a fantastic machine and it does the job, everyday. But we have the responsibility to keep it that way. With simple and careful maintenance it can serve and give us a happy health and life for a long, long time. Give it the right food, the water it needs, and the exercise to maintain from rusting out and cracking down. Keep in mind that our body is robust but must not be abused, and not be misused and do not overload with wrong stuff like too much alcohol and toxic-foods. (We can discuss again and again, but not on this post!)

Yes, we are ourselves responsible to stay happy and healthy. We have to treat our "fantastic machine" the only body we have, with respect and love.
"The body is the temple of our soul" - we heard this saying before !

In that connection we may, on this post, need to be reminded on the mechanics on how the excretory system works.
Living tissues also
need harmonious surroundings and body treatment plants are working around the
clock, day in- and day out.
1. Blood and
lymphatic system collects wastes and by-products of cellular activity and
leads them along.
2. The blood is
filtered through the kidneys (and wastes leave the body through urine.) Through
the lungs the carbon dioxide is removed, and through the skin ( which is believed to be responsible for almost 1/4 of the waste excretion ) is removed in form of sweat.
3. Digestive system eliminates remains of food that we ate ( after the nutrients has been extracted and absorbed by the system) and the liver, the organ responsible for eliminating or disarming toxins from for example the medicine and alcohol.
