ON NURSES PERSPECTIVE acording to the Norsk Sykepleierforbund (Norwegian Nurses association)
There is a great shortage of nurses in Norway in 20 years we will be missing 30,000 nurses - if we do nothing now.
According to a recent report from Statistics Norway (SSB) there will be a higher demand for health care workers and nurses because of the increasing number of elderly people in the population. (Source: Education and Job Mag. 2017)

Ja, og om 20 år er jeg blant de gamle som kan trenge en sykepleier. Håper jeg får og leve så lenge med kun noen få skavanker, så kan jeg få bo lengst mulig i hjemmet mitt. Det er et realistisk tanke om framtiden.
Yes, and in 20 years I am among the old ones that may need a nurse. Hope I get and live so long with only a few flaws, so I can get to stay as long as possible in my home. It is a realistic thought about the future...
On NURSES SHORTAGE - something drastic needs to be done now !!!
