Rediscovering Bontveit - my natural sanctuary.

Rediscovering Bontveit-  my kind of place.

It is idyllically located amidst the nature’s bounty  which is only a 3-4 minute drive from my abode. It is, according to Sølvi (my lovely friend) who spent a three hour strolling with me yesterday, a wonderful place to be. Peaceful and beautiful.
Bontveit in my mind, - I am captivated by your natural charm. You are a lovely sanctuary for peace and soulful activities. When the rest of the world is unsafe, cold and grey, a place like Bontveit becomes a sanctuary, a safe little oasis of greens and trees. For Sølvi, the experience was almost overwhelming, it was such a wonderful experience for her. For me, the trip out there was a wonderful rediscovery.
Our family friend's home, a compound or more rightly a farm on rustic red and white is like an oasis where some domestic and farm animals  are raised and thrived. Our friend's property is idyllically located, like the house on the prairie. The colorful  peacock was trying to evade from the annoying brown rabbit, who was after her for a while. The pony standing under a shade seemed to be unaffected. The light brown horse lazily tramping in circle behind the dark brown  mare. Then comes Max –  the lovely dog around 50 kilos met us in his friendly manner. He is a guard dog, and is undoubtedly the "apple of family's eyes"
It was indeed very easy to fall in love with Max, he was kind, attentive, cozy and big.

He became our  guide and  serves like a compass, he leaded the way out in the natural  and intimate landscape of Bontveit.

It was Sølvi’s first trip and undoutedly not the last. Like me, she also fall in love with Bontveit, a place for soul-searcher, peace-lover and nature tripper.
Our friend's house is made of trees and painted with naturally and hospitable color- so welcoming and friendly.

Terje, thank you so much for the wonderful coffee, cookie and chocolate, that were served just about time when we needed something sweet for quick energy boost.
Thanks for receiving us in the warmth and friendly comfort of your home.

And, thanks for letting Max stroll in the woods with us yesterday. Max is a true friend, he is a a wonderful darling ;)
