SWEET. So use a very, very little amount. I use Stevia at home. In the beginning, you will be overwhelmed upon the sweet taste that leaves "aftertaste"..but just get used to it.
it is healthy alternative. Experiment on making beverages with Stevia at home, dessert and cookies.
My Golden rule : TOO LITTLE
AND TOO MUCH ABOUT EVERYTHING IS NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE.
THIS ALSO APPLIES TO STEVIA.

Stevia is the best alternative to white sugar, however, many people are put off by the taste. It is very, very, very sweet so you only need to use small amounts. Unrefined stevia is calorie free and will not raise blood sugar at all! You can actually grow stevia in your backyard, which will make it hyper-local. If you are purchasing stevia you want to opt for the green powder or crushed stevia leaves. White stevia is processed, so it is not really the best, so go for the green and natural one.

Green Leaf Stevia – This is the least processed of all types of stevia and the leaves have basically been dried and ground into powder form. This is the type of stevia that has been used in Japan and South America for centuries as a natural sweetener and health remedy.
