.... Being able to leave the past behind  is a goal in itself to get ahead

in life....and I need

A past is past, 

do not let it become a part of the present 

and certainly not the future. 

There are part of my past that I am not proud of

 and do not want this to be excavated, 

and certainly not by you.

 So If you want me, 

then you must accept all of me including all of my past. 

I want to focus on the relationship between you and me 

and no one else .

 My past is my past. 

I've done stupid things and I've done wonderful things,

 but everything is still my past.
