My new life ( and my little old story)
When I started to work at home nursing, I was an
auxiliary nurse. And just like the
others
(other auxiliary nurses, caregivers and
nurses-on shifts) , I had my own
3rd week (week-end job).
It is a vital and necessary arrangement in this type
of organization we have to insure continuality. Twenty-four hours round the clock. Old people and needy people at home need help and support.
Our main goal is to render different services at home nursing for the elderly on the different phases of life with different types of need.

When I became a team leader ( as auxiliary nurse in 2010) I
had my own specific job assignment and
responsibility. I was
an internal coordinator for my pasient living at home with a 24 hour staffing. I had to make sure and managed for the daily-routine around the patient. I was incharge of the administrative and the personnell. I normally worked on day-shift but also on evening-shift. But there were times when I needed to step-in for the night shift when the night staff failed to report. It happened occasionally.
Then came the time when my patient had to move to another place and the job-team was dissolved. It happened in Dec. 2011.
