BEING POOR AND BECOME A DRUG ADDICT is involuntary

I'll be straightforward. Drug addicts who has committed crime are humans beings like you and me so they deserved to be treated too, the human way ! 

It is like getting rid of the symptom and not doing with the main problem. Symptomatic treatment like in a normal practice when you go to the doctor. (What if symptoms persist , you also go back to your doctor !)

We do not get rid those poor people as to treat them like pest just because they become a problem in the society, they are human beings, not cockroaches !

You and me need to change the way we used to think, and start thinking critically !

Here is a scenario. POOR INDIVIDUALS. They have no money, no means, they are people on the street-corner. They are waiting for the next offer. They steal, they commit crime. They become a problem in the society... How to handle the problem? We are talking about poor human beings who happened to become drug addicts and because of their chronic need for stuff that costs money they do not have, they steal the means from other people. Yes they become criminals at such.
Law and Order... means that each citizen who break the law suffer the consequences, but in due process of law. Meaning - a fair treatment through the normal judicial system, especially a citizen's entitlement to notice of a charge and a hearing before an impartial judge. A country who has such a big social problem has to put up a program that takes care of this problem. 

PRESIDENT HAS A VERY IMPORTANT ROLE TO PLAY THAT IS RESPECTABLE AND THAT WINS PEOPLE'S HEART IN AND OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY.
A president who is the head of the state will set a good example, his voice and his command which is human and respectable and according to the law of human rights. 

Rehabilitation process does not include liquidation process. 
We will offer the drug abuser the psycho-therapeutic and medical help they need. Now this is an expensive post for a poor country like Philippines. But as poor nation, we receive financial aids from other countries who are willing to help us. We receive financial Aid from rich countries. The president has to gain a new perspective with a new pair of human glasses, so he see clearly what he is doing. He has to establish with the help of Aid money rehabilitation institutions in the country to  take care of these human beings. The treatment has to focus on aim to keep them from drug abuse which led into further psychological, social and financial problem. This is the main goal for rehabilitation.

WE NEED TO RAISE THE AWARENESS AND EDUCATE PEOPLE. 

Drug addicts are human beings who are "chronic ill" that needs help...we have to understand this.

Nobody wants to become a drug addict, the poverty, the poor neighborhood leads these people into these misery. We do not chose to be poor, nor chose to become a problem individual. We become because of socio-economic reason, lack of education, inequality in the society and poor  government due to graft and corruption. A vicious circle difficult to come out of. That's why we have to systematize help-aids that costs money and resources, and this includes free education to raise knowledge and awareness on drugs. If a country do not have the means, then we need to canalize the means.The president has to gain insights, A HUMANE INSIGHT !

We are individuals and we deal external stimuli differently. There are strong people and weak people, educated and uneducated people who do not have the right knowledge about what is good and what is bad, and the consequences for taking drugs. Becoming a drug user that leads to addiction is involuntary, things have gone out of control. Physical, social, psychological, mental changes. The whole  person undergo negative changes. Addiction to drugs is a painful process, this is a life in hell and it is not easy to go out of it, that's why they need professional help set out into a system like we have in Norway.

I know two people and I’ve spoken to them like normal people do. Norway is a rich country, our system works, this is a land of possibilities.

Now we are lucky to be in Norway, I will say it brutally but frankly, that I believe that it is much better to become a drug addict in Norway than in other place in the world. We have a rich country and a health system that takes care of those who fall into the miserable world of drug and alcohol.

We know the consequences. 

NORWAY VS. PHILIPPINES. I can divide the world into two. I mention Norway just for example of a rich country. The drug addicts in a rich man’s world is different from a poor man's world.  There are lots of them,  the “ can afford”, they live in big houses and own cars. You don't see them on the street, so they are not "the problem". They can take care of their needs without bothering the street or the neighborhood. This is realistic and critical to think about !

PHILIPPINES is a poor country. Poor people who don't have money, no home,  and the drug addicts are our concern. Initially, their poverty problem drives them into the bad side of the society. They do not have money and means, they are desperate people, so we see them on the street-corners. They go to the neighborhood and the street to steal money from other people and commit crime for that, in extreme case, murder for money. AND THIS IS WHERE WE HAVE TO THINK CRITICALLY, WHY? AND HOW ! 
Too much people driven into poverty in the third world country like Philippines, for so many reasons. Unemployment, broken families, social, race and other form of discrimination and injustice, corruption, poor social-economic system, etc.

We are lucky to be in Norway, for I know that we have a system that works. We have institutions and rehabilitation centers for those who have alcohol and drug problems. Drug problems are a serious problem in the society and problems must be solved only in a human way.  In the Philippines, the president practices the most inhuman way to get rid of the problem. This is most inhuman and brutal, and a violation of our basic human rights.

Lastly but not the least, I like that everyone, will have to start thinking on the right direction and become critical in the way they think. It is not a shame to change direction. But it is totally a shame if you do not. Our president has characters that I appreciate for, he can be a good person and a leader on many aspects, but i totally disagree on his notion and practice on " KILLING DRUG ADDICTS" without giving them the due process of law, on which every human beings are entitled to, drug addicts or not ! The president has to consider other means and human way to solve the problems, I know he can, if he will ! He needs to open up his mind for constructive critic and embrace positive and human ideas from the world outside. He is effective and his campaign against inequality and corruption is genuine.
 But the killing as practiced is wrong approach and totally unacceptable ! :(
