Happy Birthday Mother! (Malipayong adlaw nga natawhan, Nanay )

Today March 12, is my mother's 80th birthday!

and how i wish I was there with them to celebrate mother and father.

I just couldn't make it, there are a lot of reason for it which i do not go in detail explaining for.
Tomorrow is for example my big school exam on geriatric nursing....for 5 hours.
And before this i have had my

nursing practice at the nursing home for 8 weeks. So i could barely prepare for the exam for tomorrow.
Then i have my work to do.
So much reasons, and i also need some more money to realize the plan.
I know that you know and i hope you understand!

However, i make sure to it that i mark the day in my own little and loving way, through my FB

and my blog.

Special birthday greetings from my ex-mom-inlaw who has been in the Philippines

4 or 5 times already.. The last 2 times in Camiguin Island Paradise-the place of my birth and where my parents live. and also

where my small house or cottage is built.

So I asked my sister Erna  thru chatbox at FB, what food they were preparing for the small celebration for the day. it is only the nearest member who are there now. The children and grand children:) Here's the answer:

bam-e,, surol manok, sinugba isda, fried chicken ug biko murag pasko. 

hahaha. Oh my God, naglaway ko! 

I translate: the last part..just like Christmas (morag pasko!)

Yummy!;) deilig filipino delicatesse! Just loving it

Surol na manok

Chicken with ginger and fresh cocomilk.

Pancit- Bam-i

 Pancit-Bihon. Bam-i style with plenty goodies.

and fresh cocomilk.

This is Bangus or milkfish.

It is sooo delicious and unique.
